| 描述 | Don't you simply love those lovely humped (arched) pedestrian bridges? These are a standard feature in all gardens all over the world which have a Chinese theme. Some Taoist temples all over the world also have a small humped (arched) pedestrian bridge in their grounds. I observed that the narrower the bridge, the steeper the hump. This one leads to a pleasant pavilion in the middle of the lake. It was not possible to visit each and every one of the pavilions so here I simply take a far shot of the bridge. We are now in the Xixi Wetlands Reserve in Hangzhou, Chinavcand detailed notes about the reserve appear in previous captions, earlier in this album. (Hangzhou, China, May 2017) |
