| 描述 | Back to good photographs, here is a beautiful 3-door gate in the Xixi Wetlands in Hangzhou, China. I love the fact that it is partially obscured by the foliage in the foreground- it adds an aura of mystery to the scene. Located in the west of Hangzhou, the Xixi Wetland is about five kilometers from West Lake. It has been called one of the the Three Wests of the city, along with West Lake and the Xiling Society of Seal Arts. Though not park of this reserve and not even relevant to this caption, the Xiling Society of Seal Arts is a famous academic society with an amazingly long history, the admirable achievements probably having the widest influence on the study of seal cutting. The total area of the wetland is about 11.5 square kilometers, out of which 3.46 square kilometers have been developed into an open region - the core of Xixi wetland. 70% of the wetland is water area, including a river harbor, pool, lake and moor. Six rivers flow through the park, interspersed with many branching streams and fishponds in the confluence. All of these contribute to the unique landscape of Xixi Wetland.
