English: The Embassy of Malaysia's Chancery Annex, including offices for the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), is located at 1501 18th Street NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The Queen Anne-style building was constructed in 1883 for Otis Bigelow and is a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District. Notable past owners of the building include Daniel Manning, George G. Symes, the French government (office of the French embassy's military attaché), Gregory Wilenkin (financial agent for the Russian embassy), March for Life Education & Defense Fund, Brazilian Aeronautical Commission, Southern Education Foundation, author Everett Lake Crawford, and the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies (during Harold C. Fleming's presidency). Also of note, Philip S. Hochborn (Elinor Wylies second husband), killed himself inside the building after Elinor left him for another man (Horace Wylie).
