Even when no longer protected as part of a "published edition", an arrangement may still be protected as part of an "artistic work", a "literary work", or such. The said arrangement must be either below threshold of originality in the UK or out of copyright when the UK copyright term expires. Otherwise, the work may still be copyrighted in the United Kingdom.
