El Caño is a town and corregimiento in 纳塔区, Coclé Province, Panama. 该市面积为86平方公里(33平方英里),2010年时人口为3,351,故其人口密度为38.9名居民每平方公里(101名居民每平方英里).[1] Its population as of 1990 was 2,936; its population as of 2000 was 3,276。[1]

El Caño is named after a creek whose waters end in a nearby river.

Near the modern village there is one of Panama's most important archaeological sites: a ceremonial and burial place of pre-Columbian times. The site has been plundered in the 1920s, but is installed as a small archaeological park today.[2]
