The train went into revenue service beginning 11 November 1934. The brochure mentions the various US tours the train was on prior to its entry into regular service.
There are no copyright markings on the front or back of the brochure, but because I am not able to examine the complete mid-section of it, a copyright search for any possible renewals was done.
Copyright renewals for books, pamphlets and periodicals for the years 1961 and 1962 were done, with the focus being on anything from the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad.
The above mentioned searches turned up no renewals of any type for the railroad. While I believe the brochure was never copyrighted, I have chosen to license it as PD-not renewed to be certain.
