Look at that portico, the columns, the Communist-era star - ok maybe not the star, but everything else has me thinking Antebellum plantation house.

This building, in the Shanghai World Expo 2010 site, is part of a former shipbuilding factory. I certainly do hope some enterprising entrepreneur buys it up, guts it, and reopens it (in time for the Expo) as a bed and breakfast with coffee shop, etc.

What a great heritage attraction for Expo goers! 图中的砖木结构建筑建于20世纪30年代，曾作为试航时的指挥通讯楼，40年代末曾作为国民党海军司令部。占地面积871.27平方米，建筑面积2032.59平方米，后为造船事业部机装车间办公楼。
