据制片人法兰克·马歇尔称，《侏罗纪世界3》（2022年）的剧情将标志着“新时代的开始”，人类必须与恐龙共存[1][2]。导演兼编剧科林·特莱沃若花了九年时间制作《侏罗纪世界》三部曲。2022年5月，崔佛洛表示除了可能担任制作顾问外，很大机会不会回归执导其他《侏罗纪世界》系列电影[3]。

该片于2024年6月13日于泰国展开主要摄影[20][21][22]。拍摄也将于2024年7月至9月在卡尔卡拉的马耳他电影制片厂（Malta Film Studios）进行[23]，然后移至伦敦和埃尔斯特里天空制片厂（英语：Sky Studios Elstree）继续拍摄[24][25][26]。预计拍摄将于2024年10月18日杀青[20]。约翰·马西森（英语：John Mathieson (cinematographer)）将担任电影摄影师[27]。
