该系统的两个恒星组成部分的预计距离约为152天文单位,估计的轨道半长轴为190天文单位。[17] 主星大约有太阳质量的48% ,而伴星只有10%。[10] 主星的自转速度小于3公里/秒;伴星的自转速度为7.7±1.7 公里/秒。[14] 该系统的空间速度分量为 U = 141、V = –7 和 W = 7。它们是银河系成员。[14]

X 射线源

伴星是一颗耀星,被称为 WX 大熊座。它的特征是一颗UV Ceti型变星,光度偶尔会增加。早在1939年,荷兰天文学家阿德里安·范马纳恩就观测到了这颗恒星的耀斑。[18]

伴星 (WX 大熊座)已被确定为X 射线源,而主星未检测到明显的 X 射线发射。[19] 视差为 204.059 ±0.169 mas, 代表距离太阳约为 16 光年。[3]
