FAC的關閉

關閉FAC的決定須由FAC協調員（MilkyDefer）之一作出。協調員通過將提名頁從Wikipedia:典範條目評選頁面刪除，並將其添加到以下頁面之一來表明其決定：

1. 加入Wikipedia:典範條目評選/提名存檔，表示條目落選
2. 加入Wikipedia:典範條目評選/入選記錄和WP:FA，表示條目入選FA

機器人定期處理已關閉的提名，其工作是向提名頁面添加存檔標籤、更新條目討論頁以及向入選條目添加典範條目的圖標。機器人無法決定條目入選或落選，它只是在FAC協調員決定條目入選或落選後更新相關頁面。

機器人處理應在24小時內進行。 請不要自己修改{{featured article candidates}}和{{article history}}模板，這會導致機器人無法處理。如果條目已入選，您可以在條目底部加入{{featured article}}以添加典範條目的圖標。

FAR的關閉

同樣，關閉FAR須由FAR協調員（[[User:|User:]]）之一作出。They indicate this decision by removing the nomination page from the Featured article review page, and adding it to the featured article review archive. Editors will know if the article was kept or delisted by checking the archive; the {{featured article review}} template should remain in place until the bot processes the close.
