范迪门地

范迪门地（Van Diemen's Land）是英国殖民澳洲时期，塔斯马尼亚的名称。荷兰航海家阿贝尔·塔斯曼在1642年发现该岛，以他的资助人、当时的荷属东印度总督安东尼·范·迪门为其命名。

范迪门地于1803年成为英国殖民地，原属新南威尔士管辖，1825年成为独立的直辖殖民地。范迪门地在殖民时期是著名的英国罪犯流放地之一，许多十九世纪的重罪犯在这期间被送进岛上的亚瑟港监狱。1856年范迪门地获得自治权，并被重新命名为塔斯马尼亚。
