法國音樂產業組織
法国唱片出版业公会（法文：Syndicat national de l'édition phonographique，缩写：SNEP），是一间于1922年创立的机构，以保护法国的音乐产业，旗下拥有48间子公司。其职责包括从电视广播及演出收取特许使用金，防止旗下艺人的音乐作品被侵权（包括盗版）。它亦进行音乐作品的认证工作（银、金、白金和钻石）及负责4个音乐排行榜的编排工作。

2002年9月，SNEP开始设立四个音乐排行榜：
- 百强畅销单曲 (Top 100 best sold singles)
- 一百五十强畅销专辑 (Top 150 best sold albums) ("nouveautés") (需以正价售卖)
- 四十强畅销合辑 (Top 40 best compilations) ("nouveautés") (需以正价售卖)
- 四十强畅销专辑及合辑 (Top 40 best sold albums and compilations) ("长"格式) (以优惠价售卖)
