,它是最簡單的螺環烷烴[1][2][3][4]它最早於1887年被發現,數年後其分子結構得到標準。[5][6][7] 它在200 °C分解,對其於360~410 °C熱解,會擴環得到其異構體亞甲基環丁烷,並同時生成乙烯丙二烯[8]
