西蒙·格奧爾格·馮·西納

西蒙·格奧爾格·馮·西納男爵(德語:Simon Georg Freiherr von Sina,1810年8月15日—1876年4月15日),希臘語名西蒙·西納斯希臘語Σίμων Σίνας),是一位希臘奧地利銀行家貴族慈善家外交官[1]

簡歷

西蒙·西納斯於1810年8月15日出生於維也納[2],祖籍為莫斯科波萊希臘人[1][3]。他曾先後擔任過希臘維也納總領事及駐奧地利巴伐利亞王國德國大使。其父親格奧爾格·西蒙·馮·西納英語Georgios Sinas[3]也是一名慈善家和外交官,西蒙·西納擴展了他父親的生意。 曾為奧地利匈牙利希臘各類教育和科學基金作過大筆的捐助[4]。在他擔任希臘駐奧地利大使期間,專門在希納斯大廳為約翰·巴普蒂斯特·施特勞斯創作的《希臘人波爾卡》舉辦過希臘球舞會。

西蒙·西納後來成為奧地利國家銀行董事,並在維也納創建了西蒙·格奧爾格·西納銀行[2]第二次什勒斯維希戰爭結束後,他出資幫助奧地利從什勒斯維希-霍爾斯坦遷返了部隊[2] 從1874年起,他一直居留在奧地利的赫恩豪森區(Herrenhaus)[2]

西納曾捐助過布達佩斯匈牙利科學院維也納聖三一希臘教堂、雅典東正教大教堂和雅典學院等[4]。他的父親曾可能創建了雅典國家天文台基金[5],因此,西納也是一名天文事業贊助人,月球上的辛納斯隕石坑就是以他的名字命名的[6]。1876年4月15日西蒙·西納在維也納去世[2]
