Hello Fionntán. The general idea of your translation is correct, but there are two cause-result structure which you may missed.

因（For） 神（God） 便->如此（so） 愛（loved） 該（the） 世（world） 而->就（that） 他（He） 賜（gave） 他的（His） 一（one） 和（and） 唯獨（only） 子（Son）， 而->使得（that） 任何人（whoever） 相信（believes in） 他（Him） 必（shall） 不（not） 死亡（perish） 但（but） 得（have） 永恆的（eternal） 生命（life）

And the official Catholic chinese translation is:
