關於近期Commons發生的帳戶爆破
正如公告欄所言。Wikimedia Commons的數位管理員密碼被破解，並於Commons站內加入第三方、有潛在危害性的Javascript（已經由基金會職員監督掉了）。此次爆破涉及了29個帳戶，其中有多個管理員帳戶由監管員執行了全域鎖定（據-revi所稱，涉及帳戶需要聯繫基金會郵箱ca
wikimedia.org解鎖）。
本次事件加入的相關腳本可能涉及所有在2018年6月10日 (日) 10:30 (UTC) —— 2018年6月10日 (日) 10:54 (UTC)訪問過Wikimedia Commons的用戶。

- 《封禁方針》，增添代受封禁用戶編輯相關條文。
- 《捷徑》經已降格為資訊頁。
- 《回退不過三原則》已改為重定向至《編輯戰方針》，而《編輯戰方針》則相應調整連結。
- 《禁止傷害新手指引》，增加兩個段落，分別為「如何避免成為「新手剋星」」及「如您覺得咬了人，或被人咬了的話……」。
- 《格式手冊（列表）》，增添某地人物列表收錄準則，該段落已確立為指引。
- 《檔案名稱指引》，已經正式確立為指引，列出檔案名應與不應如何，及就檔案重命名作出指引。
- 《編輯方針》，大幅更新內容，除原來提醒條目永無完美，一直修撰之中之外，亦加入文字描述提醒編者須恪守三大內容方針——《中立觀點方針》、《非原創研究方針》及《可供查證方針》，以及《收錄準則》及《生者傳記方針》。亦提示除了移除內容外，有其他方案可以選擇。以及，指出編者需要隨時準備好解釋其編輯決定，及準備好和其他編者溝通，以解決紛爭。
- 《機器人方針》，增加機器人批量條目建立標準。
- 《遊戲維基規則指引》，增添例子，確立原則——判斷是否玩忽規則時須以當事人意圖或動機判斷，以及明言濫用程序者亦屬擾亂。
